Estioko Haunt is a just a run-of-the-mill suburban tract home in Santa Clara giving out candy to trick or treaters, which also happens to have a Halloween display unlike anything you've ever seen. One night a year on Halloween...multiple video projections, sound, lights, and special effects transform our house into a Halloween-themed spectacle of epic proportions.
Oct 31st 6:30pm-9:30pm
Nope. We're just a house on the street giving out candy and treats. This is not an event of any kind, nor are we offering any amenities beyond the free street-side attraction. Although, the show does run for several hours and is presented as a live performance. We're used to having crowds ebb and flow, sometimes building up in the street, but eventually dispersing, as we primarily cater to spectators on foot and trick-or-treaters.
Because it's fun, because we can. We are a household of artists. Terry (Dad of the house) is a creative professional with experience in concert and stage production. Paula (Mom), teaches art at Wilcox High School. This display is also a homage to Mrs. E (Grandma), who started the over-the-top Halloween tradition and who's birthday fell on Halloween. Mrs. E passed away in 2019, but she will definitely be there in spirit (literally).
